Sausage and Palamino Penne
Ingredients
- 1/4 c. olive oil
- 4 cloves minced garlic
- 1/2 tsp. crushed red pepper flakes
- 3/4 tbsp. fine sea salt
- 1 lb penne
- 2 tbsp vodka
- 1/2 c heavy cream
- 1 lb spicy sausage
- 1/4 c chopped fresh parsley
- 28 oz crushed tomatoes
Instructions
- Heat oil to moderate temperature
- Add garlic, red pepper flakes, and sausage
- Cook until garlic is golden brown
- Add tomatoes and salt, bring to boil, reduce heat and simmer 15 minutes
- Cook pasta in separate pot
- Add vodka and cream to sauce, bring to a boil and stir
- Put cooked pasta with sauce and add parsley
